Meetings are usually held on the 3rd Monday of every month, at 7.00 p.m. Indoor meetings are held in Biddulph Library, Tunstall Road, Biddulph, Staffordshire ST8 6HH - car parking available on the adjacent Wharf Road car park.

This is the life story of Lance Sergeant John Harold Rhodes V.C., D.C.M. of the 3rd Battalion Grenadier Guards who was awarded a V.C. for his bravery on the 9th October 1917. March 2011: The BDGHS are pleased to announce the publication of Elaine Heathcote and Kathleen Walton’s Biddulph Born and Bred, a guide to tracing your ancestors - especially if your relatives came from the Parish of Biddulph, Staffordshire. Forty one A4 pages of Research Methods and Helpful Suggestions.
On sale and costing just £3.50 per copy. It can be purchased from the usually sources including Biddulph Library. Also available as an Adobe PDF document by contacting the secretary of the society, David J Outhwaite, by email, at a cost of £3.00.
January 2011: The Biddulph and District Genealogy and Historical Society are pleased to announce the publication of Elaine Heathcote's Old Gillow - the story of the community at Gillow Heath. 150 A4 pages of anecdotes and history. On sale at Biddulph Library, Chapter One and at meetings of the Society. Price £12
The Story of the Creation of Meadows Way: the Biddulph Inner By-pass', written and edited by Nigel R. Yates with photographs by Brian Nightingale and Michael J. Turnock.
The book details the long arguments and fight for the by-pass. It includes a photographic record of the town before and during the building of Meadows Way and has over 100 colour photographs. It will be on sale at £10.00. The book has been printed with support from The Tourism Committee of Biddulph Town Council.
Only 250 numbered copies have been printed and they are available from Biddulph Library at £10.00.
The Society is making some of its published work available in pdf format at a cost of £2 per document.

Biddulph's Coronation Year - 160+ pages of photographs depicting Biddulph life in the early 1950s. The book was published, with the aid of a Lottery grant, to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.
